What state (in the USA) should I move to?

Unless I meet the LOML between now and 2 years what state should I live in next? I was thinking Maine but wokies have ruined it for me ...Ive already been in Michigan, Texas. The only southern state I would consider is Louisiana but they don't pay well and I prefer cooler weather.

@basilfawlty89 As someone who does go there. If I moved there I WOULD NOT live in the city. In general taxes are to high in that state.

@basilfawlty89 this is more ideological than they're letting on, or else they would already be aware of NY cities like Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton and others, they have no desire for a genuine evaluation of NY even though it ticks their climate box for instance

That's a common trope by mant of us upstaters, but the truth is its not true. NYC generates a far large share to state taxes than the rest of us do. The idea upstate pays for NYC is completely untrue.
