Should political figures be required to collect a salary to hold office.

Reportedly DJT president is not collecting a salary. Therefore by not collecting he doesn’t pay taxes. Is he legally approved to work in this country. What is he hiding? Also Kamala won.

I'm not sure how much it matters since he has legal teams to figure out how he can get out of paying taxes anyway.
