Is hard work still enough in 2025 in America? 🇺🇸🔥

My take: Hard work still matters, but it’s no longer a guarantee. With rising costs, stagnant wages, and fewer safety nets, effort alone doesn’t always lead to success. Timing, access, and support play a bigger role than ever.

Americans love to pay more for healthcare than all western countries. It's $4 to have an operation in Sweden and no monthly cost because they believe in universal healthcare. Some people pay $700 a month in USA and have a deductible of $5000 if they need an operation. Insanity why American like this system. They love to pay more for everything, I guess. I went without healthcare for 10 years because I couldn't afford it when I was younger.

In Canada, we pay on average, about $600 per year for any kind of medical treatment from skinned knees to heart transplants, depending on one's annual income. The more you make, the more your premiums are. For a top wage earner, that premium only increases by about $300 for a total annual fee of $900

Low income minimum wage earners pay about $200 to $300 per year.
