@MasterLee Easy. There is no public evidence of drugs recovere, no photos, manifests, chain-of-custody documentation, or any independent verification that there were any drugs aboard the vessels (except that Hegseth said there were)

There is no verified identification of the occupants, their "criminality", or even that the boats were Venezuelan. Again, the only proof is that "Hegseth said so".

Also, as you pointed out, their routes don't match normal US drug-trafficking patterns.

This inconvenient fact has led Hegseth to change his story and claim the boats are on their way to Europe - in which case, who cares, right? This is meant to be America First.

And finally, if they really were concerned about their being drugs on board, they would have boarded and inspected the vessels. They didn't. They ignored this and murdered essentially unknown individuals. This could be a war crime.

Once again, the only "evidence" that these were drug runners is that Hegseth says so.

This is all a distraction away from the Epstein files being released on the 19th, because Trump knows that they are the only thing that could truly hurt him. He will declare a "military operation" against Venzuela between the 14th and 18th of this month.

But no independent, verifiable evidence has been released to confirm those claims.
