Overdrawing $25 is not a crime in America. Yeah you will have to pay overdraft fees but it is a civil matter at worst. Plus yeah that was a decade ago, it does NOT matter today.
I do not know why anyone would want to come to America these days. I know that lady did 47 years ago when we had no idea what would become of this place.
The trump admin claims they are going after violent undocumented people.
Somehow I doubt a 50 something year old woman originally from Ireland poses ANY threat to America. This place is f*cking sick. 😡
I have a couple online friends that I talk to regularly, I would hate for them to come here, I would be afraid for their safety.

@HoeBag imagine if she is deported back to Ireland, she hasn't lived here since she was 11, this isn't her home..
@HoeBag and tbh, I'd be nervous about even visiting the USA, I've seen stories of people trying to go on a vacation and were sent back home because they liked an anti trump post on Facebook or something similar

@AbsolutelyFabulous It sounds far fetched but it wouldn't surprise me.
It makes me think, what do they check peoples' social media accounts now or something? 🤨
Us Americans say a lot worse about tRump than any non-american. Except maybe Canadians, they are sometimes more harsh than even us Yanks. 😄

@HoeBag yep, that's exactly what they do. You have to unlock your phone and let them have a look at anything they want. If you refuse, you don't get to enter the country.

@NerdyPotato Of course I do not know about entering America, but what about other nations?
Also, who do they decide who has to do it? I mean doing that for each passenger would take hours.

@HoeBag I don't know the specifics. Just that they have the right to do so and people are advised to delete any social media apps before traveling to the USA.

@NerdyPotato Other nations must have a p*ss poor view of America right now. I mean I understand why.
Someday I would like to go to France. I think I will be more worried about re-entry into the US than about entry to France.

@HoeBag yep... And those worries are justified.

There's an Irish man who phoned into an Irish radio station and his story is, he was advised to delete all the social media apos before he went, he was going to USA for business.
He did that about 3 weeks before he was travelling. He also made sure to delete any questionable comments etc. I think this particular man worked within media somehow but I am not 100% on it.
He got through the initial screening process at visa control and they allowed him to fly, upon arrival to USA he was taken aside, they insisted on taking his phone, despite everything being deleted they "found" something that they didn't like from months previous... Some silly comment and he was sent back to Ireland
