a silly thing that right-wing US SWeeps say

...is that if we're not American, we have no business expressing our views of the current American president. The idea being that American politics is Americans' business, only.

If only the president would stick to governing the USA, that might be valid. But in fact he is constantly messing around with other countries' business. Just the latest example in today's news: imposing sanctions on judges of the International Criminal Court, including one from my country, Canada.

If you really think that only people who can vote in US elections should have anything to say about the results -- give the whole world the vote. Because the results sure as hell affect all of us.

@bookerdana He had a brilliant cartoon about a previous iteration of Israel's current rampage. Israeli army tanks are arriving in the mountains of Tibet, a Tibetan kid is throwing a rock at them, and the Israeli soldier (or is it the little penguin?) is saying "antisemitism! Way out here!"
I've been searching unsuccessfully for a copy of that one.

@bookerdana Yes, it was during one of Israel's Lebanon wars, I think. The point was that Israel was waging aggressive war beyond its own borders.
