What you say is very true. Oddly enough, the biggest sticking point in American politics to this very day is taxation which Americans deeply oppose.
Yet that opposition to paying taxes is why the USA is bankrupt today and why there isn't any money available for their government to implement infrastructure improvement across the country, such as new roads and bridges and America's very own electrical generating capacity instead of relying on Canada to supply America's electrical needs.
That's what a country's citizens get when they don't pay taxes. They end up living in a country that looks like a Third World nation who's citizens of course, cannot afford to pay taxes.
