The man with the ".....ICE" jacket is not wearing any disguise, nor even a hat. (Is the full word actually "Police"?)

So why has the police officer facing us covered his face?

I thought the US Police, like those of the UK and indeed most countries, never do that.

@ArishMell ICE is Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, and they are part of the homeland security. They operate without a warrant, and don't identify themselves when they take people off the streets. That's how even two German tourists ended up in a prison in El Salvador when visiting the US.
There is a reason why tourism in America is tanked now.

NOT arrested, because arresting implies due process.

"Taken into custody" is a synonym for "denied due process."
