What good would that do? The oil in Alberta is a Federally-owned natural resource, not a Provincially-owned resource. All that Trump would end up with if Alberta became known as a separatist Province just like Quebec, would be a bunch of uneducated, unskilled Anglophones originally from eastern Canada who add no value to the transaction.
