@meggie it's sad that people have to steal to eat. I feel for them tbh.

@MarbleMarvel You don’t have a Winco or Aldi store there? They have decent prices on produce especially when you buy the in season and sale items. I bought groceries this week and bought more than I was planning and it was because of good prices.

@cherokeepatti I get most of my basic shopping from Aldi or Lidl - as you said, excellent for fresh veg and fruit.

With the weather becoming so unpredictable it's difficult to go that route too. My garden hasn't done great things for a few years now. Extremes of drought or deluges of rain are making me think about how much I want to invest into it this year.

@robingoodfellow when I get to AZ I plan to build a small greenhouse and do some experimenting. I'm east coast now and yeah it's definitely changing. A lot. We'll have to get better at hydroponics and even better aquaponics.

Dont blame him if you didnt do your homework..His economics was straight out of the bible. Feeding the multitude with a few loaves and fish...And that parting the Red Sea is due any day to solve a bunch of other problems...😷
