Why is America trying to get rid of USAID? It's simple...

It's because USAID was investigating Starlink and its ties to Putin.

That is all.

Not only that, but if we get rid of USA I.D then it gives China and Russia.Room to step in and fill the void and take our place on the world stage. There is definitely an agenda here
@KingofBones1 Didn't get rid of USAID. Just stopped the 90% of the money wasn't being used for emergency food, medication, medical services, or military assistance to allies as it was intended...the void has been there for a long time.

@BizSuitStacy Well, I think we know that the US has always blatantly picked and chosen depending on its alliances and its interests. Because American taxpayer's money is ever so precious on the one hand, but on the other it can be profligately spent on proposals to take over an entire territory (Gaza) and send to billions in aid to Israel.

@BizSuitStacy Never said it wasn't mismanaged and needed better guidance. But the way to reform a program is not go through it with a chainsaw as it were big difference. And it is the way we are going about it.That is going to screw us in the long run

@KingofBones1 oh no...the chainsaw approach is perfect with that much corruption. USAID's mission is to administer civilian foreign aid and development assistance. It became a money laundering organization. 10,000 employees now reduced to a few hundred. The agency can be consolidated with better oversight. Continue providing food, medicine, medical services, development aid.

@BizSuitStacy I'm not American, but at least you have admitted that America doesn't even pretend to be altruistic.

@KingofBones1 What's more, all this will just make America's position weaker than it already is. The world has changed, and countries are forging ahead making new alliances and partnerships now that Trump and Musk have made it abundantly clear that America can no longer be relied upon.
@SW-User of course you're not an American, and you don't list your country. I will bet if your country suffered a disaster, the US would contribute. Yet, when the US suffers a disaster, such as a hurricane, your nation doesn't give squat. None of you ever do except Israel. Thanks for playing, though.

@BizSuitStacy Which proves you know absolutely nothing, except what your American media tells you, and you have no interest in finding out about anything that doesn't chime with your worldview. Take care :)

@SW-User Exactly. My friend her way of thinking is very dangerous for all of us especially in the free world

@BizSuitStacy None of the "garbage" I watch is funded by US tax dollars because I'm not American. I don't live in America, I have never visited America. In fact, my country doesn't have cable media.

I'm very glad I don't live in America. It is a truly scary place now. You have no functioning government, and two men in total control of America's media output.
