How many people are trying to be the next POTUS, can any of them win?

There were 7 on my ballot, I voted a straight Blue Democratic Party ticket and chose Kamala Harris. Other than the GOP and Democratic Party candidates those others cannot win and most often are paid to offset votes to help the GOP. Generally it doesn’t make much difference in the total count.
