Liberals in US wearing Che t shirts

Did Che Guevara tell UK journalist Sam Russell of Daily Worker that after Khruschev heard Che and Castro wanted the missiles to fire at US, and so immediately withdrew the missiles from Cuba, he (Che) plotted blowing up buildings in New York, yes or no?

I’ve never seen anyone wear a Che t-shirt in real life, only on TV shows where they want to show a character as a “radical.” In The Slums of Beverly Hills, one character wears a Charles Manson t-shirt. I’ve never seen anyone wear one of those in real life either.
