@Ynotisay I think the blame game will hurt Republicans if this causes a shut-down. The nihilism caucus is against government so they don’t mind.

@Bumbles And that's where it all jumps the tracks. Their supporters want destruction of any kind so it's right in line with their goals. They don't see this as being negative for the country. Because they don't care about the country.

@Ynotisay And the nihilism caucus taking that position in a system literally designed for compromise is potentially catastrophic.

@Bumbles The bigger picture answer is available though. Don't vote those people in to office. But that would take 40 percent of the country to actually vote. At the end of the day it's all on "us." We get what we vote for.
