I have totally had it with the USA. I have reached the point of no return.

At this time, next year, I fully intend to be living in beautiful Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I have been able to connect with someone who is qualified to assist me in securing a suitable living arrangement on the beach at the "Zona Romantica'

There are a number of other ex.pats from here who are very satisfied they made the right choice to get away from this now compromised and failing government. in my youth, I was considered an "Orange County Republican" that political party no longer exists which is fine for me, I really don't care..I intend to remain a SW member as this site has been a great pastime that is both entertaining and informative, I also have quality friendships who will remain in touch.

@Grateful4you of course it does! But what a grand adventure. I would be anxious too. But it is an option I’ve tossed around in my own head, moving away from the US. But I doubt I’ll ever do it.

I'm kind of skeptical about your claims. My choice is not about weather patterns that only has a influence on quality of life when in the extremes. You refused working an afternoon shift since a case of Heath bars were stolen during the heat wave of 20001
