Is there a state that has a short but snowy winter?

Where you can have enough snow for sledding down hills?(Outside of Texas)

Probably California heading over to Tahoe or Washington State.

@justanothername I’m concerned about those earth quakes and forest fires :-(

@Mindful Forest fires would be your biggest threat right now. Not sure when the last earth quake was. I think Japan gets them more regularly.

Alternatively, southern end of Colorado.

I pick California because you have the Pacific on I’ve side and the mountains on the other.

The mountains of California and Nevada comes to mind.
