KKK is still here, and they were burning folks in the 20th century. That was finally made illegal with the passage of the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching law—in 2022.
1 step forwards, 2 steps back.
Rep. Mary Miller, R-Ill., said at an Illinois Trump rally Saturday that the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was a "historic victory for white life."

She said what she meant. More people of color have abortions because they can’t afford another child or are assaulted. They’re also less likely to have connections to a private doctor or the means to travel to locations where safe abortions are performed. So girls and women of color are indeed the lives likely to be lost.
