Do you think the USA would defend Taiwan if China attacked? How can we even manage our economy without China?

It would take decades to restructure our economy. People would lose their jobs & have to learn new skills. For a period of time, our standard of living would be crushed. It certainly won't be a pretty sight, as crime is already increasing in our inner-cities. It feels like things are already falling apart with the bear market, low consumer confidence, the extreme heat waves and shortages.
