I understand from where you are coming. Yet there is many services that need to be open for a society to even function.

My previous employment was one of them. And there are many like it.

The trash and hazardous materials just don't take care of it self. It either accumulates to the point of unhealthful levels or it the hazardous materials become toxic to everyone.
@DeWayfarer hospitals, everything else closed no exceptions

@saragoodtimes where were you when the trash wasn't picked up because of covid? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Or where you one of the extreme few that actually recycles their coffee grinds and vegetable clippings into fertilizer? Not to mention any tiny batteries or hazardous chemicals that would be toxic if mixed together for any length of time.
@DeWayfarer one day isn't going to kill anyone. get real. do you have any idea how much nuclear waste is collecting at every reactor in this country because the plants have nowhere to dispose of it

@saragoodtimes probably as good, if not better than you. Hazmat was my field. And landfills operate 24/7/364-5 days a year.
@DeWayfarer no trash company here picks up on weekends anywhere

@saragoodtimes doesn't matter. Landfill is different. Constantly operating.
