i believe its because the media controls everything, and they show us the bad side and never the good side. They make us believe immigrants are dangerous. The world is full of hate.

Immigrants have always been hated in America. The Irish, the Italians, the blacks, the Chinese. You name it, they suffered here.

@hunkalove: I've never been aware of that. 😛 You're are making a lot of generalizations. ... If America hates immigrants so much, why are they here in the first place? Further, why do they come here if they know they are going to be hated and treated unfairly ?

Yes, i kinda understand the struggle my fathers side of the family come over here from Scotland and my mothers side is native american. I know the hate, the dirty looks people give and the nasty comments like "Go back to your own country". In the end you just gotta walk with your head held high, we don't own the earth the earth owns us.

@lovelldo: what I'm saying you noticed most immigrants that come here aren't rich. But rich ones stay in there home country. Like would someone who has money come to the USA

Mario: Many people migrate here and start their own business and become independent. I've met many. I know many. Your life is partly what you make of it. There is opportunity in America. Take it and use it. I can't speak for other countries but sitting around and complaining about it isn't going to do you any good.

@lovelldo: Read some American history, not the propaganda stuff, the truth. There was a time when businesses had signs that read "No Dogs or Irishmen".

@lovelldo: I rather live in Argentina but that's just me. Also my kids would not lose Spanish as their primary language

@hunkalove: I read. Although, I don't everything, I took American history in college. But okay so some people are treated unfairly. Do something about it. Start a group for awareness or something but don't just go around putting Americans down as a whole. I am America and I don't go around treating people like crap because I don't like their origin.

@Wishful: What I was saying was I have never been aware that America as a whole hates immigrants. I'm sorry that you feel that you have been treated unfairly or if it has been hard to mesh. All I am saying is that not every American is the same.
