It's pretty obvious why if you think about it!
The embroidery wrongly called a "tapestry" was made by people who'd only ever known white people, about people of largely-Scandinavian ancestry fighting people of Germanic, Scandinavian and Celtic ancestry.
There weren't any others involved!
