Half an hour of nostalgia

I watched this from beginning to end. Having been born in Britain in the post war years a dozen of these meals were familiar to me and my grandmother made the most wonderful semolina pudding I have never had since..
It was a different time. But as things are today, maybe there will be a place for this austere style again. 😷

In my family, the fight between us kids was who didn't get the skin on top of the rice pudding. Only one of us liked it. As for the rest, I don't know how I survived as I dislike onions so much.
