@whowasthatmaskedman I remember seeing one my grandmother had in the 60s. By then it was already no longer legal tender.

@FreddieUK Yes. They had not long gone out of circulation when I was there and people still had some in the house..I may even have one or two here in my collection. Never thought about it.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman The one I saw had a robin on it. Also, when I checked when they were abolished (1st Jan 1961) I read this that I didn't know:

Copper half farthings were used in Britain between 1839 and 1856,
