Britain is in a state of flux at the moment.

It has no leadership. Stained by Epstein and corruption. The Royal Family can only duck.

Politically, there is extremism.

Euthanasia is being debated.

We look on the world stage and cannot see America as an ally.

We are morally and socially bankrupt.

Let us hope that new leaders with insight will emerge.

They have done so in the past: Disraeli, Gladstone, Lloyd George, Churchill, and Attlee.

The like of which will never be seen again because modern politicians do not measure up to them in any way. They operated in a much different era, ours are only interest in votes and how much money they can make.

@mossyboots Churchill spent most of his political career teetering on the edge of bankruptcy (having been nearly ruined by the stockmarket crash of 1929). If you visit Chartwell, his family home, you will soon learn that he exploited his political position quite nicely to keep himself in daily champagne rations. The public and press were more deferential and less inquisitive in those days.

@SunshineGirl Yes, I read about his expensive food choices. All politicians are in it for themselves in some way.

@SunshineGirl I included Churchill as he was a brilliant leader at the time of war. Also for his early work in the visionary liberal governments before the First World War.
