I'm not much of a drinker, but I love old pub buildings and the heritage. Our "local", a traditional Victorian terraced pub, was taken over a couple of years ago by British-Chinese. They painted the exterior red and white, freshened up the bar area, and now offer a good Chinese restaurant/takeaway with a traditional English bar and pub games. I would probably be a regular if we didn't have kids 🙂
