@72andy yes they can be dangerous if oyu walk between them, or when they have claves, but best to wlak along the sid of the field, so you can hop ovwer fence if they come close

Most of the ones that cause issues are not with calves. They are sadly not kept with mothers outside often.
The usual issues are the adolescent ones who love to play and chase and bump.
They then trample as over exuberant.
The most important thing is not to run and let your dog go
