Next Year 2026 No Home Will Be Safe.

No Home in the UK will be safe if this advert is right we may as well leave our doors un-locked.

Where the hell are the Police, why aren't our Customs people stopping these imports, OK very handy if you lose your keys, wake up Britain.

I'm hoping that like most advertising, it actually isn't as simple to use as it looks. 'Professional' burglars will always find new ways of defeating security, but this does look concerning, I admit. I don't want bolts on the inside of my front door in case the emergency services need access when I'm incapacitated and alone.

@FreddieUK Scarey I think if that Lock-picking tool is any good.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@senghenydd I agree with you that the authorities should be on it, imported or not. It is already an offence to carry keys to which you have no right to, I believe, so it shouldn't be hard to charge someone who is in possession of such a 'tool' who hasn't a good reason.

@FreddieUK I've watch adverts like Lock-picking for a while now, it suddenly struck me I had to mention this on SW it'll be interesting to find out if anything happens now, anyone in the Police takes notice.

Surely they must stop these devices or do they need more work.

they made it too simple .. time to up grade your locks
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@senghenydd all this is changing .. as long as a camera picks up who did what .. is important info.
senghenydd · M
@markinkansas Wearing hoods face masks gloves most crimes are unsolved, all these tools advertised will help the criminals.
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@senghenydd Wearing hoods face masks gloves hell i almost ya thought you was talking ice. grin
for myself dog . big dog . and motion sensors .. they are movable and so are my game cameras . locks are as one person said .. keep out the honest people . a pipe wrench will take any door knob off in a second and then a screw driver will open the door.. i have worked at ace and truevalue hard ware and one of my jobs was rekeying locks.. now this looks interesting ..
dont be the victim boy scouts.
be prepared.

tell em to try pick this lock!

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Yes that's an answer providing your home, apparently the Police aren't going to do anything about the sales of these Lock-picking tools that are being sold which I think is a shame.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Yes extra funding it keeps them in business, what ever happened to prevention and anticipation, I'm always complaining Britain's a Nanny State this Lock-picking advert is an exception the the rule.

Get your guns back. You need them.

@MasterLee It's a funny old world, seems like I'm the first to look into this.

Locks only keep out honest people anyway.😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@senghenydd Just remember there are a lot of spoof ads out there, Like the robot puppy and the magic air conditioner. I suspect this one too.😷
senghenydd · M
@whowasthatmaskedman I followed this advert to it's Web site and they are asking £90 (ninety Great British Pounds) for this Lock-picking kit could it be a scam I wonder.

@markinkansas I suppose this is the way forward, these electronic locks won't be able to stand up to the British weather, heavy rain, cold weather, hot weather,

it's sad I/we have to consider these new types of locks. It's certainly interesting listening to this chap.
