Sad to hear of the death of William Russell who played Sir Lancelot in the 1950s series he lived to be 99 years as a child I fondly remember the repeat episodes always liked them.

@ArtieKat Yes that's right he still springs up now and again in old programmes, he was even in a James Bond film.

Certainly no tragedy. He made it to 99.

@RedBaron Good innings I believe, he was a children's programme hero from the nineteen fifties he played the leading role " Sir Lancelot" Ex-children always remember their childhood hero's.
