Just curious about how Brexiters feel about this WW2 poster

Lots of people who support Britain's exit from the EU are convinced that being part of a community of nations is a hindrance and not an advantage. Many feel nostalgia for the time when Britain "stood alone" in WW2 and see that period in history as proof that Britain is at its finest when it's "alone", and yet...

@Guardian so was mine in both world wars. We had a bit of a tiff with the great man Winston Churhill when we brought our troops home from the desert to fight the Japs. He was quiet Eurocentric in that regard. But there were a lot of Aussie ships and naval personel at Normandy. And some of our Generals were right up there in the planning. Though mkw, they are lost in the forest of the past. [i][/i]
