Troop training comparisons in the Russia Ukraine 🇺🇦 war

Britain is contributing just over 4 million pounds to training Ukraine citizens to turn them into battle ready soldiers. Groups of Ukraine citizens are being flown to England and put through an intense 4 week course covering house clearing, battle field first aid, sniper training, explosives ordinance, howitzer operations and more. They are given new army fatigues, night vision goggles and a bullet proof vest on course completion.
Many other countries are also contributing weapons for the training.

British troops have had battle field experience including guerilla warfare in Northern Ireland in the 60s, 70s and 80s
Falkland’s War in the 80s
Kuwait in the 90s
Afghanistan in the 2000s
So are well experienced at all forms of warfare and combat to be able to pass that training on.
10,000 Ukraine troops are to be trained over 120 days.

Russia is taking prison conscripts and giving them 5 days training, a six month contract worth 200,000 rubles a month and the promise of freedom, if they survive.

Update: Russia is now looking at getting troops from friendly countries with dictators in South America and Asia as it continues to try to replace its heavy casualty rate on the front line.

@Tres13
russia's training, logistical support and command and control lacks the ability and expertise to mount effective air attacks. In short, they suck. If you look at the hardware, you would think they would have on day one, established air superiority and been easily capable of suppressing Ukraine's ability to mount a defense on the ground. They haven't, and I doubt they will.

@Tres13 Your Russian power is being pushed backwards in the Donbas region by Ukraine soldiers and HIMAS rocket systems.

Prison conscripts are no match for trained soldiers with logistical support.

@Tres13 clueless or trolling?
hasn't happened yet - what's gonna be different going forward?

The state of the Russian Army sounds more like the Red Army of 1941 than anything else.

The oligarths who rule the US are delighted to sell weapons to be ''donated" to Ukraine. Naturally, many of these weapons are disappearing before making it to the Ukranian military.

it's the people blaming Ukraine for being invaded that really make me angry
