The British "nanny state" is at it again

Here in England a heatwave has been forecast prompting the Government to issue a "heat health" warning. Seriously! Part of the warning is to keep cool and drink plenty. Surely that's just common sense. We don't need to be told. For heaven's sake just leave us alone

Yes, it is definitely needed. Go on holiday to any south European resort for ample evidence that British people do not know how to act rationally in high temperatures 🙄 But more to the point, it is making the population aware of the needs of other people more vulnerable than themselves to extreme weather.
