I don’t think the children will be back until September, I agree with you June does seem a little ambitious. Don’t worry no one will send their kids to school till it’s safe. Lets just wait and see 🤗

@MelanieUK be interesting to see if there's a relaxation of schools act in the guidance document this afternoon or whether existing legislation will apply once schools return. Ie fines for parents who don't send thieir kids in

@SW-User Another point to consider is school uniform. A lot of children will be starting new schools in September. Impoverished parents have to struggle at the best of time, sometimes going hungry, to afford the extortionately priced school uniform. As many of them will have been unable to work and surviving on seriously reduced income (if any at all) buying school uniform will be impossible.
Perhaps parents could turn that to their advantage. If they are unable to buy a school uniform, their children will be isolated from others (social distancing) or, once the school runs out of isolation cells, sent home, thus reducing the risk of them being infected.

@SW-User E won't be going back until September if it is safe. She's a summer baby so isn't legally meant to be in school until she's 5 anyway
