How soon will people here start abusing Ukrainians for being attacked by Putin’s Russia?

The Russian behemoth was slow to defend the ethnic Russian in the disputed Ukrainian territory but quickly Putin saw it as an opportunity to thwart the eastwards expansion of NATO into the region Russia sees as it’s commonwealth in some replication of the British Commonwealth, and to provide him the means to erase any opposition in Russia.
