@SinlessOnslaught Yes, Ukraine is getting clobbered. The post is sarcastic in nature because Ukraine’s cheerleaders keep insisting victory is certain, yet the facts - and I’m using Western sources here, so I don't want to hear about “Russian propaganda” - don’t back that up.

@DarthInvader Look, if it came to picking which side to believe, I would go with the one who didn't invade land illegally and instigate however many casualties there have been. You admitted yourself that the numbers are screwed up and that you only used one metric.

The bigger issue here is that nobody actually fighting the war wants to be there. Everyone is miserable because of the Kremlin's actions.

If it matters to you, Ukraine has held up very well and pioneered new methods of combat. This is probably the paragraph you will react to most, since you seem to be focused on appearances. I find that baffling in the face of so much death and misery with a clear culprit pushing the gas pedal.

@DarthInvader The image you shared shows that the minister of internal affairs in Ukraine stated that they recieved Russian bodies. Ukraine is not the one invading other people's land and denying it. That is thinking for myself and choosing to believe the one who appears more transparent.

Again, I don't know why appearances and victory matter to you anyway, it comes off as deflecting away from the atrocities that the kremlin are committing. It's weird.

@SinlessOnslaught It doesn't matter what the ministry of internal affairs claims. They have to prove that claim. Red Cross were part of the process so the process was monitored by a western institution. But even if we accept this claim, Russia still received less than 100 bodies.

What's weird is your inability to focus on a single point simply because the facts don't fall in your favor. The post is not about whatever atrocities you feel you want to ventilate, it's about the propaganda concerning Ukraines claimed victory and the facts, all of them, even looking at western media, say otherwise. Ukrainians themselves apparently don't feel like they are winning as they'd rather cede land than continue fighting.
