Creepy men obsess about Ukrainian women – WE RESPECT WOMEN IN UKRAINE
Many foreign men try to get with Ukrainian women now, as said women have to escape their country, and I think it's obvious that whichever desire those men harbor, is utterly toxic – but I think this toxic energy furthermore is fueled by a misunderstanding of Ukrainian gender roles!
Women are not disrespected in Ukraine. In Ukraine we have gender roles, which means that the woman is the lord of the house, and the man is the provider. That means that since the woman takes care of the house, the man has to be respectful when he is in the house.
Ways in which Ukrainian men respect Ukrainian women:
• Men always carry women's bags.
• Men fix and build stuff for their wives.
• Men always help if any woman needs help.
• Men offer women their seat in the bus, unless they are elderly, then the younger person offers the elderly person their seat.
• Men don't raise their voice when they argue with women.
To be clear, women do not have to be housewives in Ukraine. No one forces them. Many women however want children, therefore many women choose to stay home with the children, and cook and clean, and their husbands respect them for that. Women have equal rights as men in Ukraine, meaning they can work, take an education, vote, and even join the army if they want to. It is not acceptable to be controlling, or in any way abusive, towards your wife in Ukraine.
It seems that some foreigners think they do not have to respect Ukrainian women, but in fact Ukrainian women are used receiving more respect than many women in first world countries.
