Pull out of Ukraine

We need to be America First and get out of Ukraine and NATO. Let them sort their own business out and stop wasting our tax money. Russia is winning and doing well anyways. It's a waste of money

Same thing with Taiwan. America should always come first. These liberals want to fight China and Russia and for what??

Their fighting for democracy and freedom 2 things America is meant to stand for . Russia has invaded a free democratic country so America and the world is standing with them . If we dont who will Russia invade next we cant stand by and let it happen. Do you want to live in a communist world ?

@Rhode57 So was it democracy when under Obama the US negated a Ukrainian election? Is it democracy that caused the death of 16000 Ukrainians at the hands of Ukrainians as Ukraine undertook ethnic cleansing in the Donbass? Is it democracy that has killed over 200,000 Ukrainian soldiers because the US refuses to get to the negotiating table? Maybe if you knew a bit more history and a lot less American propaganda you would have a better understanding of what democracy truly is. BTW The US stopped being a democratic country some time ago. Some say with Wilson and others say with Roosevelt others point to the unelected POTUS whose retirement home is the White House.

@hippyjoe1955 I am not saying democracy is perfect and that Ukraine hasnt made big mistakes in the past . No president or prime minister is perfect after all their only human and we all make mistakes . But it is far more preferable than being ruled by a communist leader who wasnt democratically elected and is a complete power mad mental case . Yes we dont have complete freedom as we should but at least we can elect and criticise our leaders without fear of being jailed or shot or tortured .

@Rhode57 Can you point out how Biden or here in Canada Trudeau is a democrat? Serious challenge. Strange how here in Canada one can not speak out against the trans agenda without being in legal jeopardy. Hate laws and all you know. A pastor in Calgary is in jail for saying something against the government. hmmmm.

@hippyjoe1955 Wow didnt know that . If that happened in the uk there would be uproar and demos . Everyone is entitled to their opinion provided they dont stir up hatred . If they stir up hatred then they might be jailed .
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Rhode57 Yeah I heard about someone in the UK being charged for having the wrong thoughts. There was a bill passed in the British parliament making wrongthink illegal.
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 I must have missed that one! Mind you, so did everybody else except you, including Westminster.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift Go back and look it up. I didn't make it up.
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Sorry chuck - there's no such law. I live here.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift There is such a law and you are simply ignorant of it. I saw a British MP bragging about it in the house of commons.
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 I think somebody has misled you. Such a law would never be passed - even by less-than-perfect Westminster. It sounds more like Communist China, which is the opposite of the right wing morons presently in charge at Westminster.

@hippyjoe1955 I see - a law to PROTECT women having an abortion, rather than a law banning thoughts. Not against wrong thoughts but against coercion by activists - not the same thing, although I can see how the way the article was written could confuse an American.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift Your leftism is a mental condition. Peaceful thought is now a crime? Really?
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 As I said, it's a law to protect, not to attack. The law protects women from activists and nut cases.
not sure what you mean by leftism. But hey-ho, maybe you are confused there too and see anything outside the far right - ie Putin - as leftism.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift The problem isn't banning silent prayer outside an abortuary. It has to do with the fact that the prescident has been set. Any thought can be a crime if the government of the day decrees. Should an extreme right wing government come to power your thoughts may well be banned.
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Should and maybe?
We've had an extreme right wing government with the last PM - she got booted out pronto by the present right wing.
Hard to ban thoughts except in science fiction so rest easy Mr Joe. That nightmare will not happen.
bad enough with Boris's lies! (Or Trump's over your side of the pond)
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift so why the law? After denying its existence you keep looking more foolish with each post you make.
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Why the law? To protect women having an abortion from mental, physical and emotional abuse, it seems. I am sure you can work that out.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@helensusanswift nothing about protecting women all to do with controlling people. I bet you think the government dad your best interests at heart when it imposed Vax mandates too.
