@SW-User Seriously ?

@bijouxbroussard of course. Russia has been warning about this since 2013 didn't they? I have been following those news for years. This war was coming. Should have happened earlier. About time, they took step to stop NATO expansion.

I understand their motive quite well, considering my country India did something similar in 1971 and invaded into US backed pakistan which permanently secured our Eastern border. You always protect your borders at all cost especially when your neighbor joins forces with US which is renowned for invasion. 🙂

@SW-User Nobody was gonna invade Russia, that's fucking preposterous. Russia has more nukes than anyone else. Besides, if Russia doesn't want Ukraine allying with the US, it can start its own damn defense alliance and market that.
@SW-User Are you saying that Russia was entitled to invade the Ukraine because they threatened to and the Ukraine didn’t take adequate steps to prevent it ?

@bijouxbroussard Last year, in September when NATO did military drill in Yavoriv, and zelensky gave pro-Nato statement, they pretty much declared war on Russia. US knew, NATO knew, Ukraine knew what Russia would do next. Putin began amassing troops at border since that very week.

Weak countries will become subservient, strong countries will retaliate.
If tomorrow, Russia installs nuclear silos in Mexico, US would flatten Mexico also.

Some hours ago North Korea successfully fired an intercontinental ballistic missile. Guess what, US will never try to bring democracy there anymore like they brought in other countries. 🙂
@SW-User So what I’m getting is that your motto is:
"Stand with the ‘strong’—even if they’re wrong".

Ukraine were never going to join NATO. Putin knew this. It was never on the table. Notice that Putin's pretence for invading Ukraine was to "de-nazify" the country - a totally baseless claim.

There's no other way to frame this invasion other than totally immoral, inhumane and unjustifiable. I'm fed up of these Kremlin Gremlin's coming out the woodwork and defending the actions of this maniacal war criminal.

@SW-User Nice propaganda Mate. Chances are high people like you didn't care what Ukr Nazis have been doing on Donbass for past 8 years, which is mostly a Russin dominant region.

@SW-User Aw cool, you read Wikipedia and are now an expert. Amazing that a battalion of 900-2500 (of which 10-20% could realistically be called Nazi’s according to your source) in a military of over 200,000 is now reason enough to invade a sovereign state and mercilessly kill civilians? Are you sure that’s the argument you want to make?

You realise every far right party in Ukraine who has ever stood for election has had absolutely awful results - mostly never reaching the threshold to gain a single seat. Somehow that makes Ukraine “far right” and in the need to be “denazified”?

The Putin Propaganda machine has worked wonders on you.

@SW-User The Wikipedia comes with numerous citations. You can always click on those links which can take you to the appropriate news articles. Ironically, it's US Congress which banned Azov which zekenskly supports frantically. I don't think your opinion holds more value than US Congress which pretty much passed a bill to stop arming UKr Nazis.

What you believe holds no value to me. I just gave some factual data. Perhaps, you should give some kind of genuine article to dismiss Azov isn't Nazis. this is why Israel isn't really voicing in favour of ukr.

I mean Ukr ideologies Stepan Bandera. Lol

Anyway have fun.

@SW-User You didn’t make a point there.

No one is saying there aren’t people with Nazi ideologies within the Azov battalion - there are. But to claim that an incredibly small % of Nazi proponents is somehow reason enough to invade a country and murder its populous is outrageous.

As stated, Ukraine has been in opposition to far-right parties, evident in electoral results since Euromaidan in 2014. There are EU states with actual far-right influences (Poland and Hungary for instance).

And for Russia, who has anti-LGBT, nationalist, and ultra-traditionalist values, who have signed cooperation agreements with far-right parties in Italy and Austria due to “shared values”, to dare accuse another country of harbouring Nazi ideology… I mean, it’s a bad joke.
