@AbsolutelyFabulous Put it on your bucket list, and include the railway journey thought the centre of the IEger and out onto the European Obervatory at the Jungfaru Joch.

They took a bit of "creative license" with the electric guitar.
Adolph Rickenbacher was born in Switzerland, but moved to the U.S. as a child, where he co- created (along with George Beauchamp, who was born in Texas) the first electrified guitar...which was made in the U.S.
Rickenbacher possibly retained Swiss citizenship, but definately was an American citizen.
Switzerland (as a country) did not make the first electric guitar.
They may or may not have given themselves credit for some other inventions in a way that stretched the truth.

@AbsolutelyFabulous Absolutely., The resteraunt at the top of the Schilthorn, accessible by cable car but walkable as well, is the rotating resteraunt that was used as the hide out. You can go into a room and watch the outtakes from the film while up there, but quite frankly its better to have a coffee oin the resteraunt and walk or ride up and down and stand in awe on the observation deck (aka bad guys helipad)

Its Eurovision that so messed up.. I cant remember when it became a sort of gay love in. There was nothing gay about ABBA (woof)..
