April Fool's in Scotland

Aldi, the grocery store, had an ad for haggis-flavored ice cream, that would go on sale on April 1. They called it "Haggis-Dasz" . I'm not sure whether this was promoted throughout Scotland or just at one location.

Well, most people recognized it as a gag. But there was quite a groundswell of demand for Aldi to actually start to create this. A number of people told the store that they would buy it if it were real!
