@DearAmbellina2113 Do you know which part of Scotland your ancestors came from?

@Fluffybull all I know is, around the southwestern part of Scotland, not super far from Glasgow. Not sure of a specific city, and anyone in my family I could ask is deceased.

@DearAmbellina2113 Possibly Ayrshire? Do you know of any surnames, that may pin in down as some surnames were very common in certain areas and not others.

@Fluffybull Ferguson is my grandmother's maiden name. Her father lived in Scotland and then immigrated the family to Australia, and from there, my grandmother immigrated to the U.S.

I hope this map is clear enough to read. The Fergusons had land in Ayrshire and Dumfriesshire. I spent some of my childhood years in Ayrshire and Kilkerran estate was owned by the Fergusons. Lovely part of the country, I hope you see it one day ☺️
