Many more than they should have, but the pig stalin signed a deal with Nazi Germany to attack Poland and share the spoils with each other, making russia and Nazi Germany allies. As a result, stalin was completely unprepared when Germany invade the Soviet Union. For three days he refused to accept that the invasion was real.

Incidentally, that deal (the von Ribbentrop-Moltov Pact) was the only international agreement that moscow has ever honoured - and look how it ended! 😂
