Dear Russia

The West really does not want to go to war with you. That is a fantasy only in Putin's foolish mind. He has a lot of mental issues as you likely know, even if you cannot admit it or talk to anyone about it without repercussions. The man is clearly insane.
He is pushing the West into War though, and when it starts everyone will suffer.
Every year here we have Remembrance day, where we remember the first and second world war victims, and bring in the war Veterans to say thank you and offer support. We do this so that we never repeat war again. Do you have something similar in Russia? It seems not.
Putin wants land, and is willing to trade your lives to get it. He doesn't care about you, it is only the land he craves. I feel genuinely sorry for Russians who can do nothing except sit and wait.
If someone can get rid of Putin, the world will have a chance to heal. Only you can do this, if the West attempts anything nuclear war will begin.
Send Putin back to school, he needs to learn what humanity is, and that life is more important that land.
There's so much that we, the "West" don't know about Russia and the "freedoms" (or lack of) that it has.

Even if, somehow, the average Russian citizen could read this, not a lot would be changed. The propaganda has them believing that they are fighting the Nazi party.

The reason Putin's publicity campaigns look so packed is because the people have to be there - they have no free choice in the matter.

Just look at this war, the Russian people don't want to be fighting Ukraine - hence why so many men ran for the borders... they'll likely never be able to go home again without being branded a traitor and facing repercussions for themselves and/or their families. They can't even call the war a war, it has to be called a "Special Military Operation".

Someone who REALLY didn't know about a three-way treaty known as the 1994 Budapest Memorandum.

Essentially, Ukraine agreed to give up all its nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for safety from a U.S. or Russian invasion. Russia's invasion of Ukraine violates that treaty. And as a signatory to that 1994 Budapest Memorandum, the U.S. has a definite interest in righting Putin's current wrongs.

In the final version of the deal, Russia promised not to attack Ukraine. While the U.S. and the U.K. assured Ukraine they would aid if it was attacked by Russia, that promised aid did not guarantee military support like a NATO country would receive.

In 2009, Russia and the U.S. announced that the assurances in the Budapest Memorandum would continue to remain in effect in the future.

Russia promised specifically NOT to invade Ukraine, and the U.S. promised specifically to ASSIST Ukraine if the treaty were ever violated. And that's what the U.S. is doing now.

On Russian Remembrance Day, they don't say: "We don't want this again," they actually say: "We can do this again." 😅

Thought I'd share that "fun fact" lol.
Sorry but NATO is going to engage Russia in war and the West already gave it power over all humanity. It alone is free.

@Roundandroundwego Free as in slavery kind of free maybe. Failure to obey puts your entire family in prison. Not my kind of free.

Need to send him walking.
@Tastyfrzz In the last 1000 days, Ukraine has deprived Russia of most of its functioning tanks, many of its artillery pieces, and many of its advanced missile & radar systems. Putin's desperation has set an already backward Russia back another decade or two. Russia is reduced to being a gas station with nukes, thanks to Putin. And maybe one day he will be thanked with a serving of his famous radioactive tea.

@ElwoodBlues the nukes probably don't work and at the rate regineries are being flattened he'll be lucky if he can have some reindeer bbqs.
