How did Russia ever manage, in Ukraine, without the 3’000 North Korean soldiers ?

North Korea hasn't fought a proper frontal war in a long time. This was undoubtedly sold to the DPRK for both Russia and the DPRK as NK getting payment, training, and troop experience in a real war.

I would be pissed if I was Ukraine, but if I found myself on the feo tkine opposite of North Korean Infantry I'd actually be mkre relieved. They don't know what they are doing, and have defaukt low morale as they don't really comprehend why they are in Ukraine fighting. I'd rather them over a Russian brigade anyday.

The issue is this: Russian commanders default will want to use them as cannon fodder. It is in the DPRK for SOME of the troops to survive, and not just survive, but have success of some form so they can go back home and retrain their units. If we find they are only being used as cannon fodder so russians can concentrate rlsewhere and push hard, then that's indicating the nature of Kim's short sighted deal and he signed up ten kd thousands to die in exchange for some money and tech without care to improve his own ground forces back home.

If Kim does start rotating troops in and out of Ukraine long term, then the west has a problem. Suddenly the DPRK has veteran commanders exlerienced in a geound war against western tech and tactics. That's a veey big issue. We need to rapidly close this phase of the war out before the DPRK gets alot of experience.
Honestly not sure what's happening there. Ukraine simply cannot win unless NATO goes full scale and sends in troops.
