Ever hear of the Russian Dagger?

It is a hypersonic missile that has likely hastened the end of the war in Ukraine. A few weeks ago Russia used one to take out a Ukrainian bunker near Kiev. The bunker was full of high ranking Ukrainian and NATO officials who thought being 400 feet underground encased in concrete they were safe. Sadly for them they are now safely dead. The missile took out the bunker and killed between 2 to 3 hundred people. A few days later Zelinski was talking to China about brokering a peace deal. For some reason he was not in the bunker.

@turbineman40 The US fleet of aircraft carriers has thus been rendered obsolete. One of those missiles would sink the aircraft carrier and there is nothing the ship can do to defend itself. A missile coming in at mach 10 and hardened against heat is not something that can be stopped.

@turbineman40 That and fact that the dagger can dodge. Well that and the fact that the dagger is going faster than bullets or missiles sent up to destroy it. Lasers are ineffective against something designed to withstand the heat of doing mach 10.

Wrong!! Turns out the vaunted Dagger is easily shot down by present day US anti-missile systems. Another broken Putin promise!!

@ElwoodBlues Turns out the Ukrainians are very good propagandists and you keep falling for propaganda. The Ukrainians fired their patriot missile defense at a Russian Dagger. They lost the Patriot missile system when the Dagger fell on top of the Patriots as originally targeted. You simply can not hit a missile doing mach 10 with a missile doing mach 4.

That's like saying a person can't step in front of a speeding car!!

And in fact the Patriot's job is easier then stepping in front of a speeding car. All the Patriot has to do is detonate near the dagger, and the ball of shrapnel takes out the daggar.

Turns out those "hypersonic" missiles are 90% hype, [b]LOL!!![/b]

@ElwoodBlues None of the Daggers have been shot down. Ask any military analyst. The partirots missiles are simply too slow. Ukraine trots out no evidence of the destruction except some parts of another missile that has some parts that look very similar. You really need to learn to look at actual evidence instead of relying on propaganda. If all the daggers were shot down as Ukraine how did one take out the Patriot missile launchers? If Ukraine is lying about the one that got through what else are they lying about?
