Isn't it kind of mind boggling that Russia was not able to issue all its mobilized troops in Ukraine enough AK47s?

The AK47 was designed to be easy to manufacture, and the design is completely Russian. I would have thought it's nothing for a factory to stamp out millions of them

Ok, let's start with where you are getting this information, because you are right.
It makes no sense that a country that plans on going to war would not have enough munitions to finish that war.
