I don't understand how Russia managed to send troops into Ukraine without rifles for each soldier
Even non-state actors seem capable of handing out enough AK47s for their guys. How did Russia manage to run out of guns for its troops?

Ha, foolish innocent one! The Russian military budget isn't for things like weapons! It's for buying property in Kensington and booking out hotel suites in Milan, after it's properly divided out among the staff corps.
