Russia offering prisoners 200,000 rubles ($5,000) per month if they “volunteer” to serve in the Ukraine conflict. If they survive for 6 months and return to Mother Russia they will be free men.

I bet the alternative is getting tortured in jail, and if you survive that for 6 months, you get executed
