Have you heard about the Russians and Ukrainian in the southern border seeking asylum?

What do you think of that? Some people have noticed that while a slow process, most Ukrainians are getting the pass but many Russians are not: these Russians are people who are against the Putin regime for the most part, yet they're getting held accountable for what their government has done and to an extent discriminated against.

In the other hand, there's also people (although it doesn't get that much attention), from southern and central American countries who are there to seek asylum too, and while their nations may not be officially at war, the per capita murder rate has sometimes been even higher than that of Ukraine at war, but of course they're not considered refugees and very rarely ever get a pass.

What are your thoughts on this?

No countries will be open to asylum seekers unless they wish to destabilize their economy and create a civil war. Unfortunately throughout history when a country takes refugees when supplies are limited this is what it leads to.

Right now worldwide food supplies are hitting record lows every month so this kind of unwelcoming behavior at borders will continue for the most part.
