The Eve of St Nicholas

Waiting for my daughter to fall asleep and trying to decide whether to put treats or coal in her shoe. It is a marginal decision after some crazy behaviour today 🥴 But I will probably feel more disappointed if we can't give our gifts. I have embroidered two handkerchiefs with her name. My wife has bought her some soaps. My mum has made some sweet treats.

Her reaction last year when she woke up to the first St Nicholas Day in our household is one of my favourite memories 😌
