France, the UK and Canada suddenly deciding to recognise Palestine as a country in September is a smack in the face.

The UK claims it will recognise Palestine as a state unless Israel ends the crisis. Do you know how ridiculous it is to even add "unless" in that sentence?

"Hey, we're gonna recognise all the unnecessary death you've caused which we've backed for a while, unless you stop"

Is it then business as usual after more UN sanctions are broken? Why is Israel's temperament dictating your acknowledgement of a genocide? How dystopian and insulting. Nothing but a smokescreen.

Okay, let’s not do it then. Better?

Why are you insulted - this isn’t about you.
@CGS1984 Yeah it is. Acknowleding the country you've been supporting the genocide of is beyond tone deaf. They don't need conditional acknowledgement from countries that aided their demise. They need resources and freedom.
@HijabaDabbaDoo Okay. Go give it to them instead of moaning about it.

A flight to Egypt and then a train ride through Sinai - you could be there this time tomorrow.

@HijabaDabbaDoo No seriously, if you’re this passionate about the plight of Palestinians - what are you doing about it?

Because this right here - your post like so many others - isn’t changing anything.

I mean you’re British so technically you’re a part of the problem. If you want change you need to go make it happen.

Some how make people forget about the plane hijackings and the bombings and the assassinations and the attacks on civilians and find a way for people to care about Palestinians.
@HijabaDabbaDoo The only thing preventing people from leaving Gaza is finding a country willing to take them.
@CGS1984 I don't come on here detailing what I've done, I know what I've done that I can humanly do. I don't need to prove myself. Making this about me is besides the point. "Why are you so insulted, this isn't about you" stop making it about me then? Am I suddenly gonna be more credible if I list examples or are you gonna poke holes because it ultimately changes nothing?

What makes what's happening in Gaza so gruesome and awful is that it's televised and spoken about in the same nature I speak of it, to the extent that the world cannot pretend they don't know anymore. It's not in isolated areas where people are still screaming to be heard like in Sudan. Gaza is a case study on what human beings will do when it is unquestionable that people are suffering immensely. It is the hope that other countries like Sudan (just one example) have been holding onto. The hope of people seeing their suffering on a mass scale making a difference to their plight. Gaza disapproves that directly and severs the hope of millions of so many generations so excuse me if the words I have to share about it aren't palatable for you. I'm not a government official, using my voice is the bare minimum.
@LeopoldBloom That's not true. There's no freedom of movement at all.
@HijabaDabbaDoo Super. Keep ragging about it then.
@CGS1984 gladly
@HijabaDabbaDoo Today’s news will be the same as tomorrow’s, so keep a good supply of crocodile tears.
@CGS1984 bless, your capacity to not feel real human emotions is really showing rn. Go rage about Ozzy because that's clearly better time spent
@HijabaDabbaDoo He’s contributed to something. Palestinians? Nothing.
@CGS1984 that isn't the flex you think it is lmao

@LeopoldBloom "I really wish someone would let these Palestinians in so Israel can successfully ethnically cleanse them".

You basically.

@CGS1984
Not that that it matters, people are human beings and should have the same rights as other human beings. But there are actually famous Palestinian scientists, authors, musicians, etc.
